Mobi Times ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information about you when you visit mobitimes.in, contact us via WhatsApp, purchase our device personalization products, or otherwise interact with our services.
Our registered office is at Mahatma Gandhi Road, Spencer Junction, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala 695001, India.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Contact details: name, phone number, email address, delivery address — collected when you place an order, submit an enquiry form, or message us on WhatsApp.
- Order details: device model, chosen design, quantity, payment method, and delivery preferences.
- Communications: messages you send us via WhatsApp, email, phone, or web chat, including any files, photos, or design references you share.
- Feedback and reviews: any ratings, comments, or testimonials you submit.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, referring URLs, and pages visited.
- Usage data: date and time of visits, features used, links clicked, session duration.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 6 below.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp): when you click a WhatsApp or Facebook advertisement and message us, Meta shares information about that ad interaction including a Click-to-WhatsApp ID (ctwa_clid) and referring ad ID. This allows us to understand the effectiveness of our advertising.
- Payment processors: our payment partners share transaction status and payment metadata with us. We do not directly collect or store your full card number or bank credentials.
- Delivery partners: for shipment tracking and address verification.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process and fulfil your orders for device skins, screen guards, and accessories.
- To communicate with you about your orders, respond to enquiries, and provide customer support (including via WhatsApp).
- To send transactional messages (order confirmations, delivery updates, invoices).
- To send marketing messages about new designs, offers, and services — only where you have opted in.
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and improve our marketing.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- To comply with legal obligations under Indian law.
3. Sharing Information with Meta and Other Advertising Partners
Conversions API notice: We use Meta's Conversions API to share limited conversion event data (such as when you view a product, initiate checkout, or complete a purchase) with Meta Platforms. This helps us measure the performance of our advertising on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, and deliver more relevant ads to you and similar audiences.
Specifically, we may share the following with Meta:
- Event names (e.g., ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, Lead, Purchase) and timestamps.
- Hashed contact identifiers (e.g., SHA-256 of your phone number or email) — Meta cannot reverse these hashes to recover the underlying values.
- Your WhatsApp Business Account interaction data and Click-to-WhatsApp Click ID (ctwa_clid), when applicable.
- Order values and currency (for revenue events), never full card or bank details.
Meta processes this data under its own Data Policy. You can control how Meta uses your data by visiting Meta Accounts Center.
4. Sharing with Service Providers
We share data with trusted third parties only as needed to run our business:
- WhatsApp Business Solution Providers: to send and receive WhatsApp messages. These providers process messages on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations.
- Payment gateways: to process payments securely.
- Delivery and logistics partners: to fulfil orders.
- Cloud hosting providers: to host our website and store business data.
- Analytics providers: to understand aggregate website usage.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
5. Legal Disclosure
We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or valid governmental request; when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Mobi Times, our customers, or the public; or as part of a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition), with appropriate safeguards.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for essential functions (e.g., keeping you signed in) and for analytics (e.g., understanding how visitors use our site). We may also use tracking pixels from advertising partners including Meta Pixel.
You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our website.
7. Your Rights

- Right to grievance redressal: raise a complaint about how we handle your data.
- Right to nominate: nominate a person to exercise these rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Order and transaction records are typically retained for seven years for tax and audit purposes. Marketing preferences are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
9. Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and secure storage. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection, but we work to minimise risk.
